Amy Patterson has been an animal rescuer since she was a little girl bringing home baby animals of all kinds. She always picked up stray animals as an adult and either gave them a home or would find them a home. (After being spayed or neutered, of course.😉)
Amy officially started fostering 14 years ago. She took in two bottle feeding puppies in 2011, and due to some health issues that needed extended care, one puppy ended up staying longer…Mr. Smith! He was the most obedient, loyal and loving companion. He loved his family fiercely!
Smith taught Amy more about dogs than she could have ever learned in a book! It was only fitting to honor her boy by naming the rescue after him. He will forever be missed!
